We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HSE & Compliance Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of our business by implementing our Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Policies and maintaining compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, and Quality standards.

Serve as the point of contact for compliance visits to our site.

Maintain the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold BRCGS accreditation.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with different departments to develop and implement a learning framework.

Act as the lead competent person for health and safety and handle all Accreditation and Compliance Audits/Visits.

Occasionally travel to the other sites within the group may be required.

Job Requirements:

Essentials:

Proficiency in Microsoft programs.

Ability to draft work instructions/Quality procedures.

Enthusiastic and approachable.

Flexibility in adapting to changing business needs and willingness to work additional hours if required.

Awareness of BRC standards, particularly the Storage & Distribution Standard.

IOSH Qualification (H&S).

Trained Internal Auditor.

Desirable:

Awareness of Quality Standards is advantageous.

Familiarity with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
