Position: Purchasing Manager
Location: Park Royal area, with occasional travel required

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of procurement and purchasing activities for the business.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with production and inventory teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards in sourcing and purchasing activities.
- Manage a purchasing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in purchasing and procurement within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain management principles and procurement best practices.
- Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance data to inform purchasing decisions.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and quality standards in the food industry.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
