The Role:

Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager, the successful candidate will minimise cost production and other key costs of the company without reducing quality…

• Develop and implement company purchasing strategy
• Own supplier relationship management
• Manage purchasing function including forecasting and monitor / reduce procurement costs
• Work closely with Production and Goods In departments to identify requirements and recommendations
• Manage operations system data

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar role
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the food manufacturing industry
• Excellent knowledge of quality food suppliers
• Procurement cost management skills
• Track record of creating and implementing process and controls
• Computer literate especially in Excel and ERP systems

The Package:

• Salary c. £60,000
• Monday – Friday
• Discretionary bonuses
