Are you looking for a new role to progress in your career? Would you like a new challenge with a leading food manufacturer? My client is looking for an Intake Manager to join their team in an exciting period of growth.
The Role:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for,
- Managing the efficient and economic intake of goods and general operations in the intake and yard area
- Maintaining quality within the intake department as a priority
- Communicating daily with the Logistics Area Manager, Intake Operators, Production Team Leaders, and Engineering Team
- Ensuring correct Health & Safety and Environmental standards are followed in line with the company policies and procedures
- Ensuring that the Intake area is always correctly staffed
The Candidate:
- Needs experience managing and developing staff in a challenging and fast paced customer focused working environment (Food is a must)
- Food safety level 3 (or equivalent)
- Health and Safety (IOSH)
- Knowledge of HACCP
The Package:
- Salary up to £40,000
