Salary: £30,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
About the Role:
Are you passionate about training and looking to make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are searching for a Factory Trainer to join a leading food manufacturing company in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in delivering training, particularly if you have strong IT skills and a basic knowledge of food safety.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering Effective Training: You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and informative training sessions to factory staff. Your role will ensure that all employees are fully trained in the necessary skills to maintain high standards of production and safety.
- Using Technology to Enhance Learning: Ideally, you have experience with Articulate 360 or similar e-learning tools. If not, a strong aptitude for IT is essential, as you’ll be using digital tools to create and deliver training materials that are both effective and easy to understand.
- Maintaining Training Records: You’ll ensure all training is properly documented and up to date, tracking progress and identifying any areas where additional support is needed. Your organizational skills will help keep the training program running smoothly and efficiently.
- Supporting Food Safety Knowledge: While your main focus is on training delivery, a basic understanding of food safety standards is important. You’ll incorporate food safety principles into your training sessions to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Trainers: We’re looking for someone who has delivered training before, ideally in a manufacturing or similar environment. Your experience will allow you to hit the ground running and make a real impact from day one.
- Tech-Savvy Individuals: Experience with Articulate 360 is a plus, but strong IT skills are a must. You’ll be using these skills to develop and deliver training content that’s both effective and engaging.
- Knowledge of Food Safety: A basic understanding of food safety practices is beneficial, as it will allow you to integrate these important principles into your training programs.
Why This Role?
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and wants to contribute to the growth and development of a skilled workforce. If you’re looking for a role where you can leverage your training experience and IT skills while learning more about the food manufacturing industry, this could be the perfect fit.
