A bit about me

I love my job! I joined Silven in August 2018 and in January 2021 I was promoted to Recruitment Manager, heading up most of the permanent recruitment team. Recruiting in the food industry is fascinating, but what I love most is managing a team of high-performing Recruitment Consultants who won’t let anything (even three lockdowns) stand in the way of them providing a first-class service to their clients and candidates.

Fun Fact:

In 2018 I played Tubby Wadlow in my local theatre’s production of Hobson’s Choice. Brad Pitt was asked but had other commitments.

What do you like about working at Silven?

Working in a high-performing environment is exhilarating. At the same time, you couldn’t make up a weirder or more wonderful bunch of people if you tried! We’re friendly, welcoming and inclusive. Not many people can say their colleagues make them belly laugh on an almost daily basis. Oh, and there’s a pub downstairs.
