About the Role:

As a Value Optimisation Technologist, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives within the process and NPD (New Product Development) teams. You will collaborate closely with Process Technologists to identify and implement innovative solutions related to ingredients and equipment, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained for our client’s key customers, including a major retail partner that accounts for 85% of their business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on various projects within the process and NPD teams to drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving solutions, optimizing ingredient usage and equipment efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of new and existing products.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with customer requirements.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Food Manufacturing or a related field, ideally with a year-long industry placement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for the food industry.
  • Must have an indefinite right to work in the UK.
