The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Transport, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the fleet and workshop operation decisions and maintenance:
- Hands on management of a large and varied fleet which operates 24/7
- Work closely with the Compliance Manager to maintain high standards of fleet compliance
- Ensure high levels of communication are kept within the Transport function
- Ensure all operations are carried out in line with UK and EU legislations and regulations
- Manage service / MOT schedules and records accurately
- Manage insurance, deal with claims, and conduct investigations when needed
- Manage fuel cards and get best prices for fuel
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experienced Transport / Fleet Manager
- Mechanical background
- Track record of managing a variety of vehicles
