Technical Services Supervisor
Job Title: Technical Services Supervisor
Location: Northampton
Salary: £37.5k (Negotiable)
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 10-hour shifts
The Role:
- Assist in delivery of successful third-party audits (BRCGS, RT, Organic, BMPA).
- Ensure the site Quality Management System is fully implemented and harness it to drive audit ready standards.
- Respond to customer technical enquiries and complaints as required.
- Review of policies and procedures ensuring new legislation, BRCGS requirements and codes of practice are appropriately implemented within the factory.
- Monitor and improve factory standards with regards to GMP, Hygiene and Quality through auditing and collaboration with production management and operatives.
- Work to completely deputise for the Technical Manager within 12 to 18 months.
- Provide specifications and legal labelling functions to the technical team by creating, updating, and maintaining finished product specification labels.
The Candidate:
- 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing.
- Good technical background – experience in quality and specifications.
- HACCP and Food Safety Level 3.
