The Company:

As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated Technical Manager to oversee and enhance their technical processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with food safety standards, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Oversee the implementation of food safety management systems, including HACCP, GMP, and relevant certifications.
- Monitor and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process, from raw material sourcing to finished product delivery.
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify and resolve technical issues, and optimize production efficiency.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements, and implement best practices accordingly.
- Manage and develop a small team of technical staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar technical management role within the food manufacturing industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality management systems, and relevant regulations (e.g., HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000).
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality food products.
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
