The Role
- Key member of the Technical team ensuring company’s products comply with all internal and external policies and legislations
- Maintain SALSA accreditation standard and lead technical site audits for both internal compliance with Quality Management Systems and external audits for customers
- Manage a team of 2 technical and quality assistants
- Champion Technical excellence on site
- Identify areas of improvement
- Investigate customer complaints, analyse trends and manage HACCP plan
The Candidate
- Food science or technology degree or equivalent
- Over 5 years experience working in Technical or Quality Department within Food manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP and SALSA accreditation with customer facing and auditing experience
- Great track-record of managing teams and effectively addressing issues with legislative policies and procedures
- Frozen and chilled experience is an advantage
