Summary
An experienced Technical Manager who can assure the company adheres to Food Safety legality standards, policies and procedures. You will be working in a fast-paced FMCG environment with significant growth plans for the future.
The Role
- Ensuring compliance to all Food Safety legislation and customer requirements
- Maintenance of 3rd party certification such as BRC
- Promoting a quality culture as well as quality achievement and performance improvement
- Supervising and advise staff in carrying out activities
- Defining processes and implementing group procedures
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a quality/ technical role in the food and drinks industry (preferably FMCG environment)
- Ability to carry out internal auditing
- BRC and 3rd party audit experience
- Strong understanding of HACCP Level 3 principles
- Degree or equivalent level in Food Science/related discipline
- Ability to mentor and develop a team
