Job Title: Technical Manager
Salary: £50k
The Role:
- Overall responsibility of the technical, quality and hygiene functions on site
- Provide technical support, advice and expertise daily
- Provide legislative and regulatory expertise to the site management team
- Ensure robust implementation of the food safety and quality management system across the business
- HACCP Team Leader – ensure that appropriate HACCP systems are implemented and reviewed at least annually by the Site Operations team
The Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years experience managing technical and quality teams within food production of a FMCG
- Technical experience in BRC, other GFSI and Retailer Standards
- At least 10 years in food industry related roles
- BRC proficient and a food track record in its implementation with proven results in raising standards
- Science related degree preferably from Food Safety University
