Are you an experience Quality Auditor and looking for a new challenge to grow and develop you career? My client is recruiting for a Technical Assistant to support their expanding food manufacturing business and exciting plans for further growth.

The Role:

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all Food Safety, Quality, and Hygiene Procedures throughout the business…

• Preparing site for external audits, accreditation, and EHO visits
• Monitoring HACCP and QMS paperwork
• Assisting NPD team introduce new products to launch
• Reporting non-conformances to department manager and ensuring appropriate action is taken
• Traceability / glass and hard plastic audits / allergen awareness / raw material assessments
• Dealing with customer complaints
• Support hygiene team
• Micro sampling of products

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• 3 years’ experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing environment
• BRC or SALSA knowledge
• Internal Auditing Training
• HACCP level 3
• Food Hygiene level 3
• Microbiology, specifications, and labelling knowledge (preferred)
• Positive attitude

The Package:

• Salary c. £28,000
• Monday – Friday (occasional weekend working (1 day) may be required when necessary)
