The Role:
- Create and amend, legally compliant, customer finished product specifications using internal formats or customer web-based systems
- Using awareness of legal, nutrition, food tolerances, allergens and labelling and key customer codes of practice and guidelines
- Using skills to manage and manipulate data to drive the computer based on site quality management and audit systems as well as collating information for ‘key performance indicators’ and reporting
- Understanding of manufacturing process flows and HACCP awareness
The Candidate:
- Must have current experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Hygiene Standards and Health & Safety Standards
- Good organisational skills are essential
- GCSE/ ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Maths and English
- Educated to ILM Level 3 or equivalent in food manufacturing
