Join a leading High Care / High Risk food company based in vibrant North West London! We are currently seeking an experienced Specifications Technologist to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for food safety, attention to detail, and a track record of meeting retailer and BRC standards, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate product specifications, ensuring they meet the stringent standards set by retailers and BRC.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed reviews of ingredients, nutritional information, and allergens to guarantee accurate and complete specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to address any specification-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in creating specifications that meet retailer standards and BRC standards within the food industry.
- A meticulous approach with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of relevant food regulations, legislation, and industry best practices.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
