Salary: Up to £40,000
The Role:
- Communicating customer specification information to the site team including; all photographic standards, factory single page specification sheets and key attributes
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing for shelf life and nutrition
- Liaising with customers and raw material suppliers to ensure customer and site needs are met
- Managing raw material and packaging supplier approval
- Updating and reviewing recipes on the Marco system
- Artwork approval and liaising with print houses
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Must be familiar with artwork and the packaging process
- Knowledge of Micros based specification systems
- Knowledge of retailer requirements, alerts and technical documentation
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems (Excel, Word, etc)
- Up to date knowledge of food legislation and its interpretation
- Attention to detail, ability to work accurately and methodically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
