Job Title: Specification Manager
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000
The Role:
- Develop, create and submit customer specifications for new products
- Undertake schedules specification reviews in line with customer requirements
- Ensure specifications are submitted with due regard to product safety as well as legality and quality
- Manage the internal critical path for the launch of products
- Verify that specification information that has been submitted is accurate, and has been supplied with due regard to customer ingredient policies, approved supplier lists, etc
The Candidate:
- Analytical, detailed and diligent in their work
- Able to act as front-line communication with customers at a senior level
- Ability to manage in a pressured environment with a strong sense of customer service
- Experience working within a food manufacturing environment with knowledge and experience of customer web-based specification management systems
- Computer literate and strong organisational skills
