Location: Warwickshire

Role: Site Quality Lead

Salary: £40k + (TBC)

The Role

• Manage the resources required of a professional Quality team ensuring that training, motivation and management of the highest standard
• Part of the site management team with full technical operational responsibilities for all site products
• Managing the quality of raw materials and finish product, factory quality processes, staff training and communication both internally and externally
• Management of site internal audit plan, ensuring all audits are completed to schedule and that corrective actions are implemented in the timescales agreed and root causes are identified to prevent recurrence

The Candidate

• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for quality and driving food practice
• Fully up to date with current food and regulatory standards, a working knowledge of common customer standards
• A proven record of maintaining quality systems to meet all product safety and compliance requirements and leading and managing teams

Qualifications

• HACCP Level 3 / 4
• Educated to Degree Level in Food Science, Horticulture or Agricultural based discipline (or equivalent)
• Level 3 Food Safety Supervision for Manufacturing
• Internal & 3^rd Party Auditing
• Food Hygiene for Manufacturing Level 3 / 4
