Are you an experienced Engineering Manager? My client is looking for a pro-active leader that offers:

• A minimum of 5 years’ senior management experience, ideally within food/FMCG environment
• Degree educated (ideally within Engineering)
• Demonstrates key understanding of manufacturing needs in relation to efficiencies, quality, and budgets
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems, progressive maintenance techniques and continuous improvement skills that deliver operational improvements
• Ability to manage budgets within cost parameters
• Good analytical skills with experience of sound decision making
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to clearly recommend action to senior management
• Demonstrated experience of, and positive attitude to change management
• Effective and positive communicator, demonstrating empathy and patience where appropriate

The Job

• Enforce adherence to legal compliance including health, safety, and well-being
• Lead, motivate and develop the Engineering leadership team
• Build capability at all levels within the team to ensure the team operate effectively and embody the desire to perform correctly at the appropriate pace
• Maintain and promote a food safe working environment by being the custodian of engineering standards
• Optimise operational performance using CI tools and planned, preventative engineering techniques
• Deliver against budgeted targets for expenditure, labour, and energy

Salary and Package

• Salary c. £70,000
• Car allowance
