Are you looking for a new leadership challenge within an exciting fast paced environment? My client is a well-known and successful food manufacturer based in Edinburgh. They are looking for a new Shift Operations Manager to join their dynamic team one of their busiest sites. The main responsibilities will involve:

• Deliver a 12-month production plan
• Support and drive improvement strategies
• Responsibility to engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Take ownership of budget and resources to support overall site improvement strategies, specifically regrading the performance of production lines

The Candidate:

Reporting to the Shift Operations Leader, the successful applicant will:

• Previous experience as a Line Lead or Shift Supervisor within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment
• Track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
• Managed a minimum of 10 employees
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering functions
• IOSH trained with a strong appreciation of Health and Safety
• Food Safety / Hygiene qualification (preferred)
• Lean Sigma Green Belt certified (preferred)

Salary and Package:

• Salary c. £30,000
• Plus 30% shift allowance (£9,000)
• Company pension
• 25 days holiday
• Hours: 10pm – 6am starting Monday night and finishing Saturday morning
