Position Overview: As a Shift Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s production facility. You will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of shifts, managing a team of skilled workers, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee shift operations to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity for our client.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and quality control measures.
  • Respond promptly to any issues or concerns that arise during shifts, taking appropriate action to resolve them effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience coaching or supervising a team in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Strong background in fast-paced manufacturing, particularly in industries such as chemicals, food, drink, or oils.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proven track record of driving results and achieving targets in a production setting.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work a 4 on (2 days, 2 nights), 6 off shift pattern.

Salary: £60,000 per annum, including shift allowance.
