A renowned food manufacturing company based in Cheshire, are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join and head up their technical team.

Role Overview:
As Senior Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall quality, safety, and compliance of their food products. You will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of the production process, from ingredient sourcing and quality control to process improvement and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the food manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Implement and maintain robust quality management systems to monitor and continuously improve product quality and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to drive process optimization and cost-efficiency while maintaining product integrity.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the technical team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Technical Manager or similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and HACCP principles.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different departments and with external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving company goals.
