Job Title: Senior Process Technologist
Location: Dunstable
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
The Role:
- Prepare and lead production trials from concept to launch; including new raw material testing and trials for EPD. This includes liaising with operations, NPD and suppliers to ensure a right 1st time approach
- Complete inhouse trial reports with all data from trials inc. process parameters, any specific changes which were made. What went well and what needs to be improved ahead of the next trial run
- Carry out regular raw material testing using in-house lab equipment
- Working with NPD, Technical and Operations to establish appropriate quality attributes for finished products ensuring that these are acceptable to the customer and achievable during production
- Attend pre-production and 1st launch meetings with the relevant departments to ensure all departments are aligned for a successful launch
The Candidate:
- Food Science or equivalent related degree achieved
- At least 1 year’s bakery experience
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
