Are you looking for a role within Energy Engineering in a food manufacturing environment, with a focus on energy performance?
- Improving technical performance in an area of responsibility (energy performance, water/ power/ air usage, boiler efficiency, etc)
- Delivering projects on time, within the scope and on budget
- Assist with the plan to meet KPI’s in place for energy and water consumption
The Role:
- You will work independently identifying and undertaking capital projects scoped to exceed energy and carbon reduction targets
- Developing systems, techniques, and models to track and benchmark energy usage of the plant vs industry and group best practices
- Work alongside colleagues to diagnose inefficient operation and root cause resolution
- Facilitate small to medium scope projects to enhance energy and water consumption performance and reduce costs
The Candidate:
- Degree educated in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Relevant experience in Utilities, Boiler operation and Power generation in a large process or manufacturing operation
- Knowledge of safety management systems such as risk assessments, safety auditing, HAZOP, etc
- Experience leading Capital Projects, with evidenced financial accountability
- Strong knowledge of automated control systems as well as technical understanding of process flows and unit operations
