Job Title: Regional Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Manager

Location: Cornwall (Commutable to multiple sites)

Salary: Approximately £55,000 per annum

 

Are you a seasoned Quality Manager with experience in food manufacturing, particularly within the meat industry? Do you possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage quality teams across multiple sites? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing quality teams at multiple sites, including meat processing, abattoir, and boning halls.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Conducting audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing training and guidance to staff on quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Manager role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in meat processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage teams across multiple locations.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications in food science, quality management, or a related field would be advantageous.
