Job Opportunity: Refinery Technician

Location: Liverpool, UK
Shift Pattern: 4 on 6 off, with set days off during the summer
Salary: Circa £55,400 per annum

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Refinery Technician to join our client’s team in Liverpool. This role is integral to maintaining and optimizing our client’s refinery operations, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pumps, vacuums, and distillation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure all processes meet industry standards and food quality regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering and quality assurance teams to maintain high operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of processes and equipment performance.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a process environment, with specific experience in handling pumps, vacuums, and distillation equipment. Experience in the chemical or dairy industries is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong technical skills with the ability to operate complex machinery. Basic mechanical knowledge is essential.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and food quality regulations is beneficial.
• Physical Demands: This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
