Are you a seasoned Quality professional with a passion for excellence in food manufacturing? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established food production business based in Kent. We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Quality Manager to join the team and help drive quality standards to the next level.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, site-based role

About the Role
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality products that meet customer expectations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a proven background in quality or technical roles within the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the quality assurance systems, including audits, HACCP, and BRC compliance.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all products meet legal, safety, and quality standards.
  • Conduct training and support teams to foster a culture of quality across the business.
  • Liaise with external bodies and customers on quality-related matters.

About You
We are looking for someone with:

  • A solid background in quality or technical roles within food manufacturing.
  • Experience with BRC, HACCP, and other food industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
