Are you a quality-focused professional with a strong background in UK food manufacturing? Our client, a well-established and highly regarded company in the bakery sector, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. About the Role

As Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the company’s quality standards. This is a hands-on position, working closely with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations, driving best practices across the factory floor. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading quality assurance initiatives and managing compliance with food safety standards (e.g., BRC, HACCP).
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure quality is embedded in day-to-day operations.
  • Investigating and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Training and supporting staff on quality standards and processes.
  • Preparing for and leading audits from both internal and external stakeholders.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in quality management within the UK food manufacturing industry. Key attributes include:

  • A solid understanding of food safety standards and legislation (BRC, HACCP).
  • Strong hands-on experience working within a production environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with production teams and other stakeholders.
