Are you a seasoned Project Manager seeking your next career move? Our client is currently looking for a dedicated individual to join their Projects/Engineering team as a Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all projects including construction and installation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, timelines, and budgets.

 

Job Purpose:

  • Oversee construction and installation projects from concept to completion.
  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities, manage resources, and provide comprehensive reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with all parties involved to ensure smooth project execution.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure all work aligns with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate project planning and delivery, considering dependencies, resources, and technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Site Managers and Supervisors to manage project schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Implement risk management strategies to address project requirements and changes during construction.
  • Act as the primary contact for the project, facilitating communication and consultation.
  • Assist in preparing essential documents for planning and contracts needed for project delivery.
  • Hold project team members accountable for meeting project goals and timelines.
  • Manage large contractor groups on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Organize project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including inspections and final acceptance.
  • Develop relationships with Central Engineering and external stakeholders to support site development justifications.

Requirements, Experience, and Person Specification:

  • Minimum 2 years of successful project management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on risk mitigation.
  • Commitment to health, safety, ethical, and environmental policies.
