An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Bradford. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in overseeing a production team and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of operations on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of approximately 28 Team Leaders and operatives to ensure smooth production processes.
• Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring targets, quality standards, and health & safety regulations are consistently met.
• Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Assist with planning and scheduling to ensure resources are optimally allocated.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
• Handle staff performance issues, including training, development, and disciplinary procedures as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Sound understanding of production processes, health & safety, and food safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with teams at all levels.
• Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
