Production Planner

Are you a Production Planner seeking a new opportunity in Norfolk? A well-established company in the FMCG industry is looking for a talented Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of production orders and meeting the company’s production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently fill production orders to meet strict deadlines.
  • Maintain and manage production run rates according to planning models.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Sales team to communicate production goals regularly.
  • Liaise with the Demand Planning Manager and Account Managers to address forecast variances and demand changes.
  • Provide updates on production order status and delivery to the Production Manager.
  • Schedule production orders with vendors and track them through the system.
  • Create and maintain production schedules.
  • Monitor and review reports to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager or Sales Team.

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience within the FMCG industry as a Production Planner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Positive attitude towards adaptability and change.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel.
  • Problem-solving abilities and logical approach to addressing business issues.
  • Knowledge of project management and project management systems (advantageous).
