The Role
The Product Manager will play an essential role in managing and procuring the range of “traded” products for a successful food manufacturer.
The role is newly created to drive a more strategic approach to the ranges we source from 3rd parties and to enable us to build a more focused portfolio of products for our customers.
This important role will develop some “non-core” but complimentary categories with significant opportunity for growth.
Within the company’s core business, the Product Manager will source products outside the manufacturing capabilities of the factory in Manchester, including from subsidiaries of their parent company across Europe.
The Product Manager will be tasked with driving greater value for customers and increased profitability for the business, without increasing operational complexity.
