The Role:
Reporting to the Process Development Manager, the successful candidate will provide focused development for customers whilst developing cost efficiency for the site.
- Trail management for factory pre-launch and shelf-life trials
- Document control for product information and ensuring products meet customer criteria and standards
- Sample management for each stage in critical path
- Ensure excellent communication across functions within the business
- Translate kitchen methods into suitable factory processes
- Liaise with customers regularly by presenting and conducting panels
- Continuous improvement and cost management throughout the process function
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Graduate in Food Science / Technology or a similar certification
- Experience of processing within a food production environment
- Thermal processing knowledge
- HACCP and Food Safety / Hygiene knowledge
- Attention to detail
