Overview
This is an opportunity to join a major UK food manufacturer which is rapidly growing. As process development manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company’s Scottish business.
The Role
- Successfully deliver product launches on time and in full against the development trial plan.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and inspire direct reports up to the senior process development technologist level for personal development and continual improvement.
- Manage trial critical paths, forecasts, and plans, controlling resources to deliver development activity to agreed quality and budget.
- Trial and embed new products, processes, and equipment into the plant through robust procedures for successful product launches.
- Utilize Operational Excellence principles to manage the process blueprint implementation and review cycle.
- Present facts, concepts, and assessments to internal and external customers, influencing and persuading stakeholders to accept changes and new processes.
- Understand and adhere to HSE, GMP, and food safety standards across all Scottish sites.
The Candidate
- A proven track record of leadership within process development.
- Food manufacturing experience.
