Location: North London
Salary: £45-60k
Want to actually enjoy your NPD job? Want to see your work out in the real world? Manage a small team, engage with customers, get up and look forward to coming into work?
About the company
Want to work in a massive company where you’re regularly ignored? Feel free to read on (just for your own amusement) – but maybe don’t apply for this. If you want to matter, and to have a career path at the same time – this could be for you.
This company supply large B2B businesses, as well as food service. The team is nimble, fun, outgoing and flexible. People often work here, leave, then come back again because they loved it so much. Because it’s flexible, treats you as a grown up, and looks after you.
Oh, and their customer base also grew 25% last year. And 20% the year before that. So they’re in a good place.
About the role
If you get bored doing the same thing every day — perfect.
This is variety-heavy. Fast-paced. Lots of people. Lots of projects.
- You’ll be in front of customers.
- You’ll be doing factory trials.
- You’ll be going to trade shows.
- Doing presentations.
- Managing a small team.
About you
Does this sound like you?
Outgoing – enjoys talking to people, communicating
Positive – not a miserable drip
Wants to crack on – in some companies, you can kind of hide. You can’t here. The work is fun, but does need doing – so you’ll need to enjoy cracking on.
Hands on – you want to be in the factory, you want to be with customers, you want to be doing the work!
If this sounds like you, then please apply. If you have *most* of the skills, (and right to work in the UK without sponsorship), and this attitude – then this could be a cracking place to work!
You’ll need to be onsite.
How about this?
“I want to stay in the office all day, or even better, at home, or even better, in bed.”
“My life would be better if only I didn’t have to deal with customers. Or people in general.”
“God I can’t wait to get out of here, I’m so sick of work.”
“I really don’t want to progress in my role. I want to stagnate and can’t be faffed with development.”
If you find yourself nodding along to any of this (or even all!), then 1) probably have a word with yourself, but 2) this is NOT the company for you!
What’s in it for you?
A payrise. If you’re a process technologist, an NPD technologist, or this sounds like something you could do – get in touch, and we’ll see about getting you a little more.
A lovely, fun culture.
A great boss.
Flexibility.
A pension, albeit not the greatest.
Some holidays, albeit not the most.
Training.
Development.
Job of a lifetime.
