Role: New Product Development Manager
Salary: £35k – £50k DOE
Summary
The ideal candidate for this role will be assisting in the New Product Development and the ongoing improvement of customer products and doing this by providing a high level of support and experience to both the customers and supply base.
The Role:
- To provide outstanding customer service by co-ordinating activities of the internal NPD and technical teams
- Providing support and any assistance to the Head of NPD when sourcing new products
- Ensuring the product development process is implemented and maintained by updating NPD trackers and communicating with all relevant departments
- Updating the critical path
- Submit all documentation for product sample submissions and attend customer Brand Panels and liaise with both customers and suppliers to ensure new products meet customer briefs
The Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have a good amount of retailer exposure and knowledge
- Experience working within a food environment
- Have a high level of interest in food with a creative flair to match
- Strong sense of customer service and able to communicate at all levels
- A pro-active team member
