Responsibilities:
✓ Oversee the Night Shift Hygiene team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the facility.
✓ Lead and develop a medium-sized team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
✓ Implement and maintain robust cleaning schedules, following HACCP principles, Food Safety Level 3, and COSHH guidelines.
✓ Collaborate closely with the Site Technical Manager, providing regular updates on hygiene performance and addressing any concerns or issues.
✓ Drive continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on reducing costs, optimizing resources, and enhancing overall efficiency.
Requirements:
✓ Extensive experience as a Hygiene Manager within the meat industry, with a deep understanding of meat hygiene practices and regulations.
✓ Hold HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3, and COSHH certifications.
✓ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
✓ Proven track record of successfully reducing costs and improving hygiene operations.
✓ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
