Multi Skilled Engineer (3 days a week, 12 weeks off a year. I’m not even kidding.)
48k
Manchester
I could write a really cool long advert but the pros and cons of this job are pretty self evident.
So.
The bad stuff.
It’s working Fridays. And Saturdays. And Sundays.
Okay, got that done.
The good stuff.
You’re only working three days. You have one shift. Six til six. That’s it.
You have 36 days off a year. Which, because you’re only working for three days, is 12 weeks.
So yes, you’ve got a full weekend. But also you’ve got a quarter of the year off. And you’ll get 48k.
Oh, and it’s a brand new site. And it’s a full height site. Which, to people like me who don’t know this stuff, means you don’t have to go into any crawl spaces or bend right down to do your work. Which means you don’t ruin your back.
And the site has brand new equipment. And a frankly obscenely good canteen. Which is closer to Frankie and Bennies than it is to a hospital canteen.
You’ve got job security, because customers are queueing up to buy the product. The business is flying. The site is new. The kit is great.
I’m not going to lie. I’ve never seen a job where you can have quite as much time off. So if you want to learn the drums, or the guitar, or to spend time with kids or grandkids or do up a house or whatever, while earning a full time wage – do this. It’s a bit ridiculous.
The actual job.
Multi skilled engineer in a food factory. 50/50 bias. Willing to actually work, get on with people and not be a ****.
