The Role: You will be part of a dynamic engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment and systems within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, ensuring quick resolutions.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
About You:
- Experience in an FMCG Environment: Proven experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is essential; experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
- Apprentice Trained: An apprenticeship in engineering or a relevant discipline is crucial.
- Multi-Skilled Expertise: Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to work on a wide range of equipment.
- Problem Solver: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing priorities.
