Are you looking for a new role to progress in your career? Would you like a new challenge with a successful food manufacturer? My client is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for,
- Driving improvement through OEE and OTIF
- Promoting the health, safety, and legal compliance of site
- Ensuring that department is compliant with all health and safety site procedure / policy
- Leading continuous improvement to improve and maintain quality
- Investigate causes of any quality failures and introduce sustainable corrective actions
- Motivating team members, identifying and addressing training, and promoting effective cross functional communication
- Controlling budgeted product costing and waste management
The Candidate:
- Food Manufacturing experience essential
- Leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively
- Willingness to be hands on, on the factory floor
- Lean manufacturing
- Experience in a managerial role with direct reports
