Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Working Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)

Salary: £62,000 – £63,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry? Do you possess extensive knowledge of SHIRE and PPMs? Are you an effective leader with an electrical bias? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Our client, a reputable company in the food manufacturing sector based in Corby, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving their production facilities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all maintenance activities within the production facility.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs (PPMs) using SHIRE.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Continuously seek to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SHIRE and preventative maintenance programs (PPMs).
  • Demonstrated managerial experience with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Electrical bias with a solid understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required to meet the needs of the business.
