Are you an interim food safety specialist looking for your next role?
An established food manufacturer with a long-standing history of producing market-leading products is experiencing a surge in orders. They specialise in multi-component meals for retail and are seeking an Interim Technical/Quality Manager to join their dynamic team.
The Job
As the Interim Technical/Quality Manager, you will:
- Support the Head of Technical with quality issues and technical standards.
- Prepare for upcoming BRC and other audits, ensuring 24/7 audit readiness.
- Be factory-facing, providing hands-on support.
- Work on-site Monday to Friday, with flexibility to stay away from home if required.
- Manage a diverse team, tackling challenges from both products and customers.
- Drive the quality culture and ensure quality assurance.
About You
You are:
- A seasoned technical or quality manager from the food industry with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Experienced in interim roles or eager to learn and adapt to new categories and customers.
- Ideally from a chilled food environment (e.g., sandwiches, meals, food to go, value-added protein).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Ready to lead from the front and get involved in hands-on work.
- Immediately or imminently available
Salary and Package
- Day Rate: Negotiable based on experience, approximately £350-400 per day plus full expenses.
