We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Hygiene Manager.

As our Hygiene Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our operations meet and exceed regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 4 operatives and 1 supervisor, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a high level of performance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive hygiene programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve our hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety, to establish effective communication channels and promote a culture of hygiene excellence.
- Monitor and evaluate hygiene performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), with a primary focus on audit results, including BRC and retailer audits.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, recommend solutions, and drive initiatives to enhance hygiene standards, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a high care/high risk environment within the food industry, with a solid understanding of hygiene principles, practices, and regulations.
- Possession of a Food Hygiene Level 3 certification is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven track record in successfully managing audits, particularly BRC and retailer audits.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven decisions.
