Job Opportunity: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager

Location: Bromborough, UK

 

We are currently assisting our client, a leading company in Bromborough, in their search for an experienced and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance within their fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship among employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations and initiatives.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop recommendations for corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Background in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
  • Relevant qualifications in health, safety, and environmental management.

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday – Friday
