• One of the UK’s major suppliers of their specialist produce, with exciting plans to drive the business forward over the next 5 years
• Will invest in the candidate with a view for them to eventually progress to HSE Manager within 3 years
• Supported by an excellent Group HSE Manager whilst being the primary contact for the site for H&S matters

The Role

Reporting to the Group HSE Manager, this role will be the primary contact for the site H&S compliance:

• Champion and advocate for all H&S controls and standards on site.
• Assess and feedback on all hazard report submissions from colleagues
• Producing and updating H&S Reports, spreadsheets, KPI’s
• H&S data analysis
• Raise Purchase Orders to H&S budget
• Ensuring H&S communications are relevant and up-to-date.
• Represent the H&S Department at relevant Tier meetings, forums and working groups
• Champion of Risk Assessment methodology (training will be provided)

The Candidate

• Experience of working in a food/FMCG manufacturing environment
• Experience in an entry level health & safety role
• IOSH Occupational Health & Safety Qualification working to NEBOSH Certificate
• Perform well to deadlines
