Would you like to take on a new challenge with a successful dairy manufacturer? My client is recruiting for a Head of Technical to join their business during an exciting period of growth.

The Role:

Reporting to the Site Director, this is a dual site role which will be responsible for cultivating a positive Food Safety culture and maintaining high Quality and Legality standards.

• Drive Food Safety and Quality by partnering with all stakeholders across the business
• Create and maintain integral Technical strategy
• Lead change on legal, customer requirements, and industry standards
• Active HACCP leader and support development of BRC standards
• Create and implement continuous improvement plans for Technical and Quality systems and processes
• React to crisis and incident management through root cause analysis and driving change solutions
• Communicate effectively with customers and external stakeholders at a senior level
• Lead customer, supplier, internal, and external audits

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related subject
• 10 years’ experience in food / FMCG manufacturing environment as a Technical Leader
• BRC compliance and auditing experience
• HACCP level 4
• Strong commercial awareness, financial assessment, and project management skills

The Package:

• Salary c. £80,000
• Car allowance and bonus
• Relocation package
