Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary Range: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

As the Head of QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring our client’s products meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining effective quality assurance processes throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and procedures to ensure the delivery of top-notch products.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to promote quality-focused practices.
• Define quality metrics, conduct regular audits, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Champion best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to communicate QA findings and advocate for quality improvements.
• Establish clear quality objectives and KPIs to measure the success of the QA team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head of QA or in a similar senior quality assurance leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide QA professionals.
• Demonstrated success in implementing and managing quality assurance processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to align quality objectives with overall business goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees would be a plus).
