Our client, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated FSQ (Food Safety & Quality) Manager to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of Food Safety and Quality within the facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee and maintain the SALSA accreditation, driving continuous improvement in all areas of food safety and quality.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure all processes and products meet the required quality standards.
- Work closely with production teams to implement and maintain food safety management systems and quality assurance protocols.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Manage customer complaints and product recalls effectively, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are completed.
- Liaise with suppliers and external auditors to ensure quality expectations are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical/quality management within the food manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience working in a SALSA accredited environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
