The Role:

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of maintenance plans across the site:

• Coordinate activity of Shift Engineers to sufficiently resource planned maintenance and emergency/breakdown cover
• Ensure team compliance with site / statutory Health and Safety regulations
• Participate in department training and provide support to Shift Engineers in their development to achieve KPIs
• Deputising for the Site Engineering Manager in their absence
• Drive culture of continuous improvement in the delivery of engineering support to site

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experienced Engineering Team Leader in food / FMCG manufacturing environment
• Fully qualified Maintenance Engineer (HNC/HND/Engineering Degree/Time-served Apprentice)
• Electrical bias
• Track record of great people management and development of staff
• Excellent communication across site functions

The Package:

• Salary c. £46,000
• Monday – Friday
• Day shifts
• 5 hours per week
